Hello, my name is Gaby Alcazar and I will be teaching 4th Grade this school year. I have been teaching English for 23 years here in Cancun. I was born in Baja California however I was raised in Los Angeles, California. I moved back to Mexico when I turned 11 years old. My grandparents had a home in Cuernavaca, Morelos where I lived and studied at Marymount School. After recieving my bachelors degree I decided to marry my high school sweetheart and come to Cancun for our honeymoon. We quickly fell in love with the beach and healthy environment and decided to stay, so I guess I am still on my honeymoon! I have a beautiful, loving daughter named Vivian who is also a student at CES.
After I specialized in English and became certified as an English teacher I discovered what a wonderful job I had and decided that I truly enjoyed working with children of all ages.I have worked at 4 schools here in Cancun. I began at the American School, followed by Balam, Alexandre and Diuni and am currently working at the wonderful CES community.
My hobbies include reading, watching movies, baking, and most of all I enjoy music! Our family loves to use our Karaoke machine as often as possible.

favorite colors: silver, purple and turquoise
favorite snack food: POPCORN!!!

hobbies: reading, singing, baking cookies, watching movies
favorite books: it depends on my mood but I love mysteries, suspense, and realistic fiction
